A Joy of Granite renovated my kitchen, master bath and powder bath. I am totally pleased with all of the renovations in my home and get excited to showcase my home. A Joy of Granite was totally professional and the quality of work is unbelievable. I had a new home in the time span of one week and am happy with the outcome. Joy and her crew were very professional and totally accommodating. I loved working with her and listening to her ideas in each area of the process. I would definitely use A Joy of Granite again and am also forwarding her contact information to all my friends and family that need some kind of help around their home. Thank you again, Joy, for your hard work. I absolutely love my new home!!!

Their service was superb. They took out all my old formica countertops and replaced them with a quartz countertop with 4" quartz backsplash. The crew were on time and professional. I had new countertops from start to finish all in one day. I also got a free stainless steel undermount sink with the installation. I am extremely satisfied with A Joy of Granite and will recommend them to anyone! Great job!!!
They installed quartz countertops in my kitchen.
I contacted Joy on a Tuesday around lunch. She returned my call around 5:00pm the same day and asked if I could be at the house around 9:30am the following morning. I agreed to the proposed schedule. Joy advised me that the contractor she used was a perfectionist and that if he had any doubts about his ability to do an excellent job, that he would turn the work down. The contractor was 5 minutes early to the appointment. He spent about 15 minutes measuring and inspecting the cabinets. He quoted the work effort at $250.00. I agreed, and he proceeded to begin work. The contractor brought in an assistant who helped with the job. The contractor was insanely careful and clean. He covered the floor around the work. He covered the counter-tops around the work. His assistant vacuumed as he cut the stone to minimize the dust from the process. He measured and marked the stone and re-measured before he cut. The same process was followed with the modifications to the cabinet cuts. IT SHOULD BE NOTED: The cuts to the stone were fairly minor. The existing cook-top hole in the granite was smaller than needed for the new cooktop. The cuts to the cabinet face were very minor. When it was all said and done, the new appliance looks great. My wife is beyond excited. I'm having our plumber come in this afternoon to change out the gas line and remove the line reducer used for the previous appliance (the new appliance has a much higher gas-flow capacity). I would STRONGLY recommend using Joy of Granite anytime you need Kitchen Remodeling

I called Joy of Granite on the afternoon of the 21st reaching no one or nothing but answering machines. Joy of Granite's recording said they were closed for the holidays. I did reach one company and was told a repairman would call me with a time. No one ever did. I ended up calling Joy back on the 26th. Result: She was still on vacation but called me back almost immediately and could NOT have been nicer, and had an excellent professional, Martin, at our home at exactly when I was told. All plumbing had to be detached, and holes drilled for big metal screws to actually support the granite - not just glue. And I did not have to call the plumber because he re-attached the disposal and other plumbing. The bill was the lower of two possible quotes she gave me. Joy (the owner) is probably the most delightful, responsive person I could have come across. I am sorry I did not get her to install my countertops originally - it would have been done right. An A+ job!
We have had difficulty getting contractors to show up and or complete work on this bathroom project. Joy showed up within 15 minutes of being called. Very punctual. We originally retained her for the countertops, but she arranged for the glass and mirror work as well, securing tradesman that shared her punctuality and professionalism. Definitely a great experience.
The overall experience was very positive.
The overall experience went extremely well. The company was very responsive to phone calls and texts. Joy's attention to detail and her savy for style and what would look good was immeasurable. I only wish she would have stopped by to see the final product that her team did.
They came on time at around 8:30AM and finished around 5:00 PM. They had to work on 22 windows and 2 half walls. They did a very good job installing the granite window sills and granite half wall's small counter top. Also they did a very good job of cleaning up after they were done.
Joy is great. She really held my hand through the whole process...and made it as painless as possible. I am in love with my kitchen - and she made it happen!!
Joy was a pleasure to work with. She met with me and suggested some other options that I did not originally consider. I received about 3 other quotes and decided to go with Joy. I changed my mind a few times in the process. At first I wanted to do both vanity areas, the tub decking and a shower seat. Then I scaled back to just the vanities. At the end, I was back to both vanity areas and the entire tub surround, not just the horizontal surfaces that I originally planned...about 40 sq ft. Through it all Joy adjusted the estimate and material order. I was pressed on time and needed to get the work done early to mid There was a problem with the pair of slabs I had picked out. Joy received the material and didn't like the slab quality, so she found two different slabs. Since they were larger, the cost was a little more. There was a bit of a challenge installing the tub decking due to the fact that I had built the framing a little high for the faucet deck. It took a few hours to modify what I had done, but the crew was able to reduce the height of my 2x4 framing and put everything together. Joy experienced a medical emergency in the middle of my project. I'm amazed that she was able to keep the work on schedule. I would recommend Joy of Granite for you counter and vanity needs.
Joy is a joy to work with. I also refer her to many clients. She is efficient in follow up & truly cares for
each client. Her prices are great & the quality of work is excellent.
Joy is wonderful to work with. She helped me with colors of the granite and the design of the tile back splash. The first work crew that came out to put in granite counter tops was not professional and in general did a very poor job. The cut out for the cook top was too big, the seaming poorly placed and they left the job on a Friday unfinished and a general mess in my house. Joy went above and beyond to make sure I was satisfied with the final product. A different crew came in, put in a new countertop (at her expense) and did a beautiful job. Joy helped me with selecting granite remnants for the bathrooms. She even helped with selecting a soaking tub for the master bath. She spent time helping me pick out tile to finish the showers where I replaced the plumbing fixtures (big hole in the wall) without having to re-tile the entire shower area (not in the budget at this time). Joy was a "real joy" to work with.
After placing calls to a few different companies, we elected to go with A Joy of Granite for our new kitchen countertops. The owner, Joy Coleman, was responsive, personable and professional to work with. Joy set up an appointment to meet with us immediately and spent quality time assessing the potential for our kitchen countertop upgrade. She was extremely knowledgeable about not only the current trends in design, colors and presentation but also in the mechanics of the installation. Joy made a number of recommendations for how we could improve on the amount of counterspace we could have while at the same time making it look more elegant. The installation team arrived on time and were the utmost professionals in their management of the job. Joy also made great recommendations on what kind of back splash would be most complimentary to our new countertops and colors in the kitchen. Our neighbors have remarked that we now have the nicest kitchen on our block - and to think this came at a price that was extremely competitive and worth every penny in terms of our home resale value going up. We would highly recommend A Joy of Granite to others for their granite and stone needs. We were also very pleased at how streamlined the quoting and invoicing process went and very glad that Joy accepts all the major credit cards.
Replaced our formica kitchen countertops with granite, installed a new sink, faucet, and travertine back splash.
